French Revolution & Napoleon
The invasion of Russia was when Napoleon marched through Russia during the winter. Most of his men died along the way. He then attacked Moscow, so to revolt the Russians destroyed Moscow so Napoleon couldn't have it. So Napoleon began marching back home with only 10,000 man left Waterloo was were Napoleon went to battle with British troops. He ended up loosing because he was out-smarted by the British and their Prussian backup.
The congress of Vienna was several meetings that occured in Vienna. They were having the meetings to achieve a new European order. This was one collective of security and stability for the entire continent. They planned to have the meetings for only four weeks but instead it lasted for eight months.The Peninsular war was when Napoleon took over Portugal and made his brother king of Spain. Everyone was outrages and then the Spanish started the French using guerrilla tactics. Napoleon ended up loosing 300,000 soldiers during this time
